About Us
SiamHong Shipping Services Ltd. delivers reliable and efficient shipping support services to Shipowners, Ship Managers, and Charterers worldwide, specialising in ship structure upgrades covering deck areas, cargo holds, ballast tanks, and water ballast tanks.
Headquartered in Laem Chabang, Thailand, we operate globally through our network of partnered offices in China, Singapore, Malaysia, the UAE, Greece, India, and Sri Lanka, allowing us to support vessels wherever they trade.
Our experienced team understands the specific cargo hold preparation requirements for a wide range of cargoes, from agricultural products such as rice and corn to non-edible commodities including ores, cement, and coal. We work in strict accordance with port regulations, class standards, and international compliance requirements, ensuring vessels are consistently prepared for smooth cargo operations.
To maximise operational efficiency, we maintain our own survey team to supervise cargo hold cleaning processes. We utilise modern cleaning techniques, including robotic operations, ensuring full coverage of all shadow areas within cargo holds. This approach significantly reduces downtime, particularly for vessels engaged in frequent cargo changes on global trading routes.
Beyond cargo holds, we support shipowners with ballast tank upgradation projects, which become increasingly critical as vessels pass their second special survey. With proper planning, these upgrades help optimize maintenance costs, reduce steel renewal requirements, and facilitate efficient class survey completion. We provide complete project solutions, including the supply of our own marine paints, delivering both technical reliability and cost advantages.
SiamHong Shipping Services also operates in-house voyage repair teams capable of executing cargo hold cleaning and ballast tank upgrade works while vessels remain in service. Where suitable, we offer equipment rental options for ships whose crews are trained to operate the equipment independently.
Our survey team comprises seasoned industry professionals who conduct detailed vessel condition assessments and develop tailor-made upgrade plans for deck, cargo hold, and tank structures—supporting vessel safety, compliance, and long-term operational performance.
